Nominate Outstanding Individuals for ASCA Annual Awards

During ASCA's Annual Members Luncheon at the Annual Convention in June, ASCA will honor some of the brightest stars in the chiropractic community by presenting several prestigious awards. These awards celebrate the outstanding individuals who continue to shape and advance the chiropractic profession. If you know someone deserving of one of the below honors, now is the time to submit your nominations!

Please submit nominations with first and last names, award you are nominating for and a paragraph stating why they are being nominated and worthy of the honor.

Nominations are now open for the:  

ASCA Lifetime Achiever Award
The highest honor the ASCA bestows upon an Alabama chiropractor. The recipient must have made significant achievements in the chiropractic profession, ASCA, or the community, and have been practicing for at least 20 years. The recipient must also be 60 years or older and be an ASCA member in good standing for the last five years. 

ASCA Chiropractor of the Year
This award recognizes an outstanding year of service to the chiropractic profession. There are no limitations on age or years in practice, but the recipient must be an ASCA member in good standing for at least the past 3 consecutive years.

ASCA Young Chiropractor of the Year Award
Presented to a chiropractor in practice for fewer than 10 years, whose leadership and achievements have distinguished them within the profession, the ASCA, or the community. The recipient must be an ASCA member in good standing for at least the past year.

ASCA Chiropractic Assistant of the Year Award
Recognizes a Chiropractic Assistant who has made significant contributions toward the advancement of the chiropractic profession, academic and scholarly endeavors, as well as involvement with the ASCA and community activities. The recipient’s doctor must be an ASCA member and have been so for the past year.

ASCA Janet Marie Maxwell Chiropractic Service Award
Awarded to a Chiropractic Assistant, employee, or ASCA staff member who has demonstrated exceptional service to the chiropractic profession within the state of Alabama. The recipient must have served in the office nominated for 20 years or more, and their doctor must be an ASCA member.
 

Alabama State Chiropractic Association

The Alabama State Chiropractic Association (ASCA) is the unified voice of the chiropractic profession in the state. ASCA works to protect the rights of the recipients of chiropractic care and represents the interest of its members in areas of concern to the profession.
