ASCA has been instrumental in the passage of state laws which have strengthened and protected consumer rights and the rights of Chiropractors in Alabama. In addition, our experienced team works continuously with state and federal regulatory agencies to ensure that your rights are protected and enhanced.

A few of our important legislative and governmental affairs milestones over the years:

State Licensure passed in 1959.
Instrumental in defeating legislation that would encroach on the Chiropractic Scope of Practice from other professions such as Physical Therapy and Message Therapy.
Ensured Chiropractors were considered essential during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Many other states shut down Chiropractic offices for months to the financial detriment of chiropractors and the health of their patients.
Passed Legislation to allow Chiropractors to refer to physical therapists.
